The project "Outlands" is the result of 10 years of work. I have traveled more than 500 cities of 60 countries. I have made the whole project with analog cameras and black and white films. Familiarization with places and people helped me to be patient and find the right moment when capturing images. I have used 136 rolls of films for that series, which is equivalent to an average of 3 photos per day.
As Paul Theroux said: "Go alone. Travel light. Bring a map. Go by land. Walk across a national frontier. Keep a journal. Read a novel that has no relation to the place you’re in. If you must bring a cell phone avoid using it. Make friends."
All my prints are limited, are signed, numbered and bear a hologram on the back of each work. They are accompanied by a certificate which is a high quality paper with fluorescent fibers security endowed with continuous numbering another hologram in the hologram coincides with the work. This method of Authenticity was designed to ensure the originality of works of art issued in limited series and avoid the risk of counterfeiting.
